SERVING THOSE IN NEED

 

           Countless individuals show their love and care for their canine and feline best friends every day. However, the reality is that not all cats and dogs get the treatment and attention they deserve. To help address this issue, Four Legs and Fur Animal Society was established. We are a nonprofit organization based in Hermitage, Missouri that does the following:

​          Foster stray/abandoned animals that can be adopted once they’re healthy.  Our team assists with rehoming animals when asked, but because we are foster-based,  we can only take animals when fosters are available.

​

          We provide a source of emergency supplemental food to ensure that pets  aren't surrendered or dumped simply because they can't be fed. Pet food pantry is open from

1pm - 3pm every Wednesday.

We are closed Christmas week and New Years week and during inclimate weather.  If Hickory County schools are closed so are we.  Please note the times of our closures and plan accordingly. 

 

​         AS FUNDS PERMIT, we offset the cost of emergency medical treatment

for animals and help with spay and neuter.
